Ross and dd’s DISCOUNTS internships help students get a foot in the door and explore the world of retail the way Ross does it. Working with a Fortune 500, growth-focused company is something you just can’t learn from a text book.
Regardless of your field of study, if you’re a junior going into your senior year of college, consider these possible internships:
Ten-week internships at either a Ross Dress for Less store or dd’s DISCOUNTS store. Gain leadership skills and insight into what it takes to run a store every day. You could be offered a full-time position as an Assistant Store Manager once you graduate.
Nine-week internships in our New York, Los Angeles and Boston buying offices. Work side by side with our merchants in the garment districts of one of these three cities. This could lead to work as an Assistant Buyer or Location Planning Analyst for either Ross Dress for Less stores or dd’s DISCOUNTS stores.
Ten-week internships in our state-of-the-art distribution centers. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment that requires creative thinking to maximize efficiencies in moving merchandise quickly to stores across the country. Our distribution centers are located in Carlisle, PA; Fort Mill, SC; Moreno Valley, CA; and Perris, CA.
Ten-week internships in preventing theft, fraud and handling security to maintain a safe and secure shopping and working environment in our stores. These internships are available in select markets across the country.
Ten-week internships at our corporate headquarters in Dublin, CA. You’ll spend 10 weeks during the summer months in one of our corporate departments such as Allocation, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Store Operations or Strategy. Throughout the summer, interns participate in a structured program, including orientation, lunch-n-learns, professional development workshops and networking events. As part of the program, each intern is also responsible for a project. At the end of the 10 weeks, the interns deliver presentations on the work they've done. High-performing interns may receive offers to return as full-time associates upon graduation.
